Tips for healthy skin

Everyone dreams to have a flawless and healthy skin, and for this dreams to come true there are different ways that needs big effort and lot’s of time, but some people don’t want to spend too much time or money for intensive or expensive skin care. there are tips that you can do to prevent skin damage and also can revive your skin.

Avoid too much Sun

Sun is a very good source of energy and vitamin D that we can use by exposing ourselves to it. This is needed for normal bone function and health. Yet sunlight can also cause damage too. Sun light has UV rays that can harm our skin health and you need to keep your skin protected from it by not to be exposed to the sun too much, wearing long-sleeved shirts and applying sunscreen.

Hydrate your skin

This is one of the most important and simplest factors to have a very good and healthy skin. Hydrating your skin means increasing its water content. If your skin is dehydrated, it can appear flaky, dull and dry. You can do the followings to keep your skin hydrated :
– Use the correct cleanser
– Use a correct type of moisturizer (read more about types of moisturizers here)
– Avoid strong soaps
– Limit bath time (Hot water and long showers or baths remove oils from your skin)
– Use natural face mask

While your skincare routine plays a part in your skin’s condition, a nutrient-packed diet works wonders to maintain healthy skin from the inside out. Vitamins are very important when it come to skin care. Although we talked about the harmfull UV rays of sun, the sun isn’t all bad. Just 10–15 minutes of daily exposure helps manufacture vitamin D throughout the skin. Vitamin D is one of the best vitamins for your skin, along with vitamins C, E, and K.

Don’t use too many Products

Layering on multiple skincare products all at once is a big no. It can be harsh on the skin, resulting in more breakouts and clogged pores. Also, using big amount of cosmetic beauty creams as makeup during the day can cause dryness and skin damages. try to clean your makeup and face as soon as you get in the door instead of waiting right before you go to bed.

Avoid Rumors

When it comes to skincare, there is a lot of information out there. Even though we are always looking for new ways to keep our skin firm and glowing, not all strategies work. In fact, some of them can be harmful. Make sure that the skin care strategies you use are safe.

Don’t smoke

Smoking makes your skin look older and contributes to wrinkles. Smoking narrows the tiny blood vessels in the outermost layers of skin, which decreases blood flow and makes skin paler. This also depletes the skin of oxygen and nutrients that are important to skin health.
Smoking also damages collagen and elastin — the fibers that give your skin strength and elasticity. In addition, the repetitive facial expressions you make when smoking — such as pursing your lips when inhaling and squinting your eyes to keep out smoke — can contribute to wrinkles.
In addition, smoking increases your risk of squamous cell skin cancer. If you smoke, the best way to protect your skin is to quit. Ask your doctor for tips or treatments to help you stop smoking.

Exfoliating is the process of removing dead skin cells from the surface of your skin using a chemical, granular substance, or exfoliation tool. It is advised to exfoliate a couple times per month.
